A Missional Community is a Family of Missionary Servants sent as Disciples who make Disciples in the everyday stuff of life.

A Missional Community is a gospel centered community with an intentional mission. Currently two of our MCs are neighbourhood-focused in Osborne Village and St. James, operating in obedience to the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20). Our MCs meet together regularly to eat, dive into God’s word, the Bible, encouraging one another, pressing on to Godly love and good work. We consider each missional community to be an intentional group of Christ followers in a particular area of the city, reaching their own neighbours together. They know their context best, and as a community align themselves with the rhythms of life in their neighbourhood so those around them are able to have a daily encounter with Jesus through word and deed.

Our third and newest MC is for youth, both those in OVC and those from the community who don’t know Jesus yet. We feel that it is our responsibility and joy to be raising our young people to be passionate about Jesus, grow in love for each other as members of the bride of Christ, and grow in their love and urgency to see their friends come to know the hope of the gospel.
